Kevin Wiliams
Kevin entered aesthetics from a highly technical background in laser engineering, where he designed both laser systems and their applications. He was also part of the early work surrounding the discovery and development of laser hair removal.
Over the past 35 years, Kevin has specialised in laser education, lecturing worldwide and training thousands of practitioners. He has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s leading laser educators, known for combining deep technical expertise with practical clinical relevance.
His career has included work with many of the sector’s leading laser companies, including Cynosure, Lutronic, Cutera, Lumenis, and Chromogenex, with additional input and guidance from respected professionals including Prof. Jonny Herron, Dr Brian Franks, Dr Toni, and Dr Holly.
Dr Brian Franks
Brian is a Visiting Professor, University of Greater Manchester (Queens) and is the Co-Producer and Programme Clinical Director of the MSc Specialist Practice of Clinical Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions, University of Greater Manchester (Queens). He is a Member of the Institutional Research Board (IRB) and Ethics Review Committee (City of London Dental School) under the University of Greater Manchester. Brian works as a Medical Aesthetics practitioner in central London. He is the Co-Principal of Dr Brian Franks Medical Aesthetics training courses, the CPD of which is awarded through the University of Greater Manchester. He continues to be a member of the Judging Panel for The Aesthetics Awards. He was formerly the Clinical Lead and Senior Lecturer on the MSc in Facial Aesthetics at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Central Lancashire. Brian was a member of Health Education England, Cosmetic Non-surgical Interventions Expert Reference Group (ERG) regarding the provision and training for aesthetic non-surgical interventions. He is a Fellow of the Expert Witness Institute and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Brian is an experienced International presenter/lecturer and teacher in the field of medical aesthetics and has written numerous articles over the years for aesthetics publications. Prof. Jonathan Herron
Prof. Jonathan Herron is a UK-trained plastic surgeon and visiting professor of Laser Surgery and aesthetics and module lead for lasers in greater Manchester University with recognised expertise in advanced laser and energy-based technologies. His clinical practice integrates core plastic surgical principles with modern laser applications. He is regarded as an expert in laser science and tissue interaction and serves as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for several international laser technology companies. In addition to his surgical work, he is actively involved in education and professional training, contributing to the development ofstandards in laser safety and clinical practice.

Dr. Toni Burke
Dr Toni Burke is a London-based medical doctor and co-founder of Fitzrovia Clinic. Trained at University College London, she has over 15 years of experience in aesthetic medicine, with a particular interest in laser technologies, skin rejuvenation, and combination treatment approaches.
Her work focuses on the use of laser and energy-based devices to treat concerns such as pigmentation, redness, and skin texture. She is particularly interested in optimising treatment parameters and combining modalities to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in practitioner training, with an emphasis on safe device use, treatment planning, and translating theory into confident clinical practice.
Dr Holly Cole-Hawkins
Dr Holly Cole-Hawkins is a GDC-registered clinician and co-founder of Fitzrovia Clinic, a leading CQC-registered medical aesthetics clinic in London. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 2008 and holds a PhD in Head & Neck cancer. Dr Holly has extensive experience in aesthetic medicine, with a strong focus on laser and energy-based devices, skin health, and individualised treatment planning.
Alongside her clinical work, she is actively involved in professional education, delivering training and developing content that bridges the gap between theory and day-to-day practice.
